Highlights: This custom glass skylight system is supported by aluminum kingpost framing and stainless steel tension rods. The point-supported, laminated glass was engineered for the specified performance requirements in addition to the requirements during installation – the system was designed to be assembled and glazed on the ground, lifted into place by overhead crane, and bolted to the structural anchor plates provided by the contractor. Assembly and installation took less than two full days on the site
